Fitchburg
Center believes that community and environment can go hand in hand. The
trails, prairies, woods and wetlands of Fitchburg Center are designed to be
places where people can interact to enjoy the land and each other.
The Agora Pavilion is nestled
within a prairie landscape in the Town Center and provides a venue for social
engagements, concerts, and is the home to the weekly farmer's market. Art
in the Atrium, housed within the BioPharmaceutical Technology Center
provides a quarterly showcase of both regional and international artwork that is
open to the public Monday through Friday. Miles of trails and a link to a
cross-state trail and recreation area provides opportunities for healthy outdoor
exercise throughout the seasons. The Farmers Market supplies fresh organic
vegetables, flowers, and fruits to the residents every Thursday.
Restaurants, such as La Paella provide casual dining option that features a
patio garden for summer sunsets. Fitchburg City Hall and Community Center,
as well as Eagle School and Woods Hollow Children's Center further add to the civic and educational dynamics found
in the neighborhood.
All of these combine to create a
vibrant community in which commerce, technology, education, recreation,
and home-life come together. From its inception, Fitchburg Center has worked collaboratively with its neighbors and residents,
seeking to
achieve cooperation and synergy with homeowner associations, local business and city officials.
