Eagle School (www.eagleschool.org) - this 20,000 sq. ft. structure, completed in 1998 at the cost of $1.5 million, added another educational/civic component to Fitchburg Center.  The building features many specialized attributes to accommodate the educational objectives of the school and houses approximately 180 students.  The site overlooks wetlands and the Capital City State Trail.

Eagle School is an independent school operated by the non-profit corporation, Eagle School of Madison, Inc. The school is dedicated to serving the educational needs of gifted and talented children, kindergarten through eighth grade, in the greater Madison area.  In addition to encouraging the utmost development of each child's academic and creative potential, the school's program stresses the importance of a positive self-image and the value of one's own and others' unique abilities.
