The Agora at Fitchburg Center is comprised of a central mix of service, civic, office, residential, and destination retail uses. The Agora development is now open.  This signature building in the community, provides a landmark retail and commercial center in the heart of Fitchburg.  The 84,000 square foot project, comprised of three buildings set on the edge of a seven-acre prairie, are linked by skyways and include a 240 stall underground parking facility.  The buildings are defined through their use of quality and timeless materials including stone, cedar, clay tiles, copper and expansive windows.  10,000 square feet of retail space is still available on the first floors of the buildings, with Promega Corporation leasing the remaining office space on the upper floors.  Join such company as Kneaded Relief Day Spa and Wellness, Ecco Salon, and Prairie Bean Coffee.

The community-focused design has strong visibility and easy access along East Cheryl Parkway, just east of Fish Hatchery Road.  A dual-purpose piazza connecting the existing Agora Pavilion (Home of the Fitchburg Farmers Market and Summer Concert Series) to the new project provides additional parking and expanded space for community activities.  Good street presence, a beautiful setting, plenty of parking, and competitive lease rates make this retail component very desirable.  Additional Phases will come on line over the coming years reflecting a similar high quality character.

The Town Center has an integrated architectural and site design that is informal, non-institutional and pedestrian focused. An important aspect is its ability to invite the public into participating in the Town Center. The goal is to achieve a unique mixture of high quality buildings, with public uses such as the Agora Pavilion/Farmers’ Market, the trails, and the ponds.
